First Loonie sends racers for a Loop

The first Loonie race of the 2003 season on May 1 put riders to the test, with the hosts at Gone Bakery once again opting for the Green Lake Loop trail.

It was a lot of climbing, some hiking, and a harrowing descent through loose dirt and rocks for the approximately 150 riders who came out.

The top racers were Trevor Hopkins and Angela Teng, and the top juniors were, as usual, James Crowe and Brook Baker.
