In last week’s article “Trails spark legacy discussion” Eckhard Zeidler was identified as a board member of the Association of Whistler Area Residents for the Environment. Zeidler is a long time AWARE member and former board member but is not currently on the board and, as such, does not participate in motions, votes or positions taken. AWARE developed its own position on the trails issue and Zeidler was not party to those discussions. He is, however, the municipal council representative to AWARE.
