For the record

Last week’s article "Proposed Pemberton Lodge turned down by council" may not have been clear about the state of the current $11-million hotel proposal.

Pemberton council turned down an offer from the developer Skymount Properties, which would have seen them pay roughly $150,000 less in voluntary cost contributions, or VCCs, to the village for the development.

This does not mean that the Pemberton Valley Lodge proposal has been turned down for good. The Pique apologizes for any confusion.
