For the record

Last week we ran a story about the latest news with the Whistler Film Festival, to be held Dec. 4 to 7.

Within the story we said the Whistler Film Festival was working with the Toronto International Film Festival's selection committee. However, it's actually the Toronto International Film Festival Film Circuit that is helping bring the best films to Whistler – not the selection committee.

Thanks to this partnership, up to 60 per cent of the Whistler Film Festival's screenings this year will be proudly Canadian. So local filmmakers have a better chance than ever to get their prize masterpieces on the big screen. Submissions close Oct. 24. Check out for more information.
