In G.D. Maxwell’s July 27 column he wrote of the Barnfield Farm employee housing that: "The muni, through the WHA, provided a cheap building lot." In fact, the Whistler Housing Authority didn’t exist at the time Barnfield was developed. However, the WHA was in existence by the time many of the houses were built and handled most of the negotiations with Barnfield residents.

Also, some Barnfield owners maintain they are not trying to renegotiate or rewrite any contracts but are asking that the existing covenants on their property be enforced.
