A story in the May 3 issue of Pique headlined “French immersion initiative fails” incorrectly stated that Whistler’s Spring Creek elementary school has an early French immersion program. In fact, Spring Creek has a very successful late French immersion program, which begins in Grade 5. Early French immersion is not available in School District No. 48.
