For the record 

In last week’s article “CT scanner on hold, again”, it was reported that the value of GE’s contribution totals $4.24 million. This week Marnie Simon, chair of the Whistler Health Care Foundation, asked to clarify that the scanner itself is worth $1.4 million. It is the overall project — including the money that the three foundations and the regional hospital district have raised — that totals $4.24 million.
