In the article “Revelstoke’s all right” published Nov. 20, it was reported that the recent sale of half of Lake Louise Ski Area was related to the economic crunch. This week, Resorts of the Canadian Rockies corrected that the sale was not related to the economic situation. According to Matt Mosteller, the group’s vice president of marketing and sales, buyer Charlie Locke had never wanted to leave the mountain resort industry and had followed through with his intent prior to the economic meltdown.
