For the record

In last week's article regarding the reconfiguration of Squamish schools board chair Dave Walden misspoke concerning the issues with Mamquam Elementary School. In fact, the school is not facing any issues related to low enrolment or with French immersion, but rather classroom overcrowding. The issue was discussed with parents at open house meetings on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, as well as a proposed reconfiguration of secondary schools.

Also, in last week's feature story it was stated Mayor Ken Melamed had lived in Whistler since 1988. In fact, he moved to Whistler in 1976.
