Forst third in final election count 

This week Elections Canada released its final poll results for the Oct. 14 federal election, and found that NDP candidate Bill Forst actually finished third in West Vancouver-Sunshine Coast-Sea to Sky Country once advance polling results were included.

Election night coverage put Forst fourth, behind Green Party candidate and incumbent MP Blair Wilson.

The tally now stands at 26,949 votes for Conservative John Weston, 16,069 votes for Liberal candidate Ian Sutherland, 8,728 votes for Forst, and 8,723 ballots for Wilson. Some 208 ballots were rejected out of the 60,677 cast.
