Four Seasons residence burgled

Gets away with $200,000 of high-end ski gear

Police are looking for a bold robber who broke into the storage lockers of one of Whistler’s top properties, getting away with $200,000 worth of goods.

Wanted is 35-year-old Thomas Grant Moore. Whistler and Pemberton have issued a warrant for his arrest for break and enter and possession of stolen property exceeding $5,000.

Moore is known to police, said RCMP Cst. Devon Jones, and his last known address was in Squamish.

The suspect is Caucasian, 180 cm tall, 91 kg in weight, and he has a tattoo of the Irish flag.

"The investigation is continuing," said Jones this week, adding that the stolen goods have not been recovered yet.

"We are looking for any information about the suspect," said Jones.

The items stolen include a women’s designer fur coat, designer skiwear, several top-of-the-line pairs of skis and a mountain bike.

The items were in secured storage lockers of private resident owners of the Four Seasons Resort.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Whistler detachment of the RCMP at 604-932-3044 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
