The first homes in the 600-home master-planned community at Furry Creek will be up for sale this weekend.
The Eagles Nest development includes nine lots and four luxury view homes in an exclusive cul-de-sac.
The homes and lots go up for sale June 17-18. Prices for the homes start at $1.1 million and the lots will be available for sale between $475,00 and $500,000.
"The Squamish area has become a viable commuter option for people who work in either Vancouver or Whistler and with road improvements now underway for the Olympics, everything will get even closer," said Gary Marshall, general manager of sales and marketing with ParkLake Homes.
"As a result we are experiencing a great deal of interest in Furry Creek and we expect this interest to intensify as we continue to develop the area."
Following on the heels of Eagles Nest, ParkLane Homes will be offering the second phase of the development in the fall, called Oceans Crest a gated subdivision with 13 homes overlooking the ocean.
The 600-home master planned community will be developed in the next decade stretching over the 1,036 acre site at Furry Creek.
The first Eagles Nest show home will officially be open to the public from noon to 6 p.m. on June 17 and 18.
