The Whistler Art Walking Tour is a great way to see local galleries and public art pieces. Self-guided brochures are available at MY (Millennium) Place or online at www.whistlerartscouncil.com. The Whistler Farmers Market is also a big part of the summer art scene. Check out a broad selection of works by local artists and artisans every Sunday from 11 a.m. — 4 p.m., rain or shine.

Running until July 31: Windows — photos in window-style frames by Wim Tewinkel. Beginning August 3: The Wildlife of Burning Man — a collection of images by locals who have made the journey to the iconic counter-culture celebration taking place every year in the Nevada desert.
