The Whistler art-walking tour is a great way to experience local galleries and public art pieces. Self-guided brochures are available at MY Millennium Place or online at Also, many local cafes, restaurants, bars and retail outlets offer up their walls as display spaces for local visual artists. You never know where you might spy that essential piece.

Fishin’ Friends

One-day show and sale of works by three women artists/fly fishing buddies: painter Fran Friesen, illustrator Kat Cruikshank and ceramic/raku artist Anne Rurak.
