The Resort Municipality of Whistler will host two open houses this month to outline potential legacies of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.

The meetings will be held Feb. 20, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and also Feb. 23, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Both meetings will be held in the Maguire Room at the Whistler Conference Centre. Display boards will outline the legacy options for the such things as the Nordic event centre in the Callaghan Valley, the multi purpose arena for the paralympics, and the land-bank project currently under discussion by the RMOW and the provincial government.

Visitors will be able to leave comment cards which will go to the planning department before they are forwarded on to working committees for the Vancouver Whistler 2010 Olympic Games Bid Corporation.

The comments will be looked at and become part of the on-going discussions surrounding the legacies and hosting of a Winter Games.
