Giant garages for sale: cheap The Parent Advisory Council of Myrtle Philip Community School is organizing a giant garage sale at the school gym, Sat., April 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. More than 70 tables are available for individuals or groups to sell books, sports equipment, toys, household items, and so on. The cost to reserve a table is $20. Proceeds from the table rentals will go into the PAC Computer Fund of Myrtle Philip Community School. Information packages to reserve a table are available at the Myrtle Philip School office (Mon. to Fri. 8:30 to 2:30). The garage sale will also feature a bake sale and will mark the official opening of the very social garage sale season. Admission to the giant garage sale will be a loonie, with children under 12 getting in free. With the rapid advances in technology the existing computer lab is outdated. The computers lack the power to support even a networked reference software program, or run some of the educational software packages with graphics that are on the market. Upgrading the computer equipment will enhance the educational opportunities for the students of Myrtle Philip Community School.
