The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) has released its lineup for GO Fest’s free concert series.

The acts include Juno Award-winners The Philosopher Kings, Victoria-based indie band Carmanah, B.C. favourites Current Swell, funk-fusion act Coco Jafro and DJ duo The Funk Hunters performing in Village Square from May 18 to May 20.

“This incredible lineup of Canadian artists is brought to Whistler thanks to the Province of British Columbia’s Resort Municipality Initiative contributions which invests in programs and projects that support and help grow tourism,” says Whistler Mayor Nancy Wilhelm-Morden in a release.

This year marks the fifth installment of the festival, which was first launched to help shift the culture around the May long weekend in Whistler from rowdy to family-friendly. It also includes various sport events, races and workshops over the weekend.

The free shows will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and at 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
