Grads go door to door

The Whistler Secondary student’s drive to hold the biggest – and driest – graduation party ever continues this week as students go door to door selling tickets to see Mesmer, America’s foremost stage hypnotist and comedy magician.

The Whistler Secondary student’s drive to hold the biggest – and driest – graduation party ever continues this week as students go door to door selling tickets to see Mesmer, America’s foremost stage hypnotist and comedy magician.

Mesmer will be performing on Saturday, April 27 at 7 p.m. in the Myrtle Philip gymnasium.

The class of 2002 is the first Whistler Secondary class to hold a dry grad, and is looking to the community for funding and support. To help plan it, three girls who are helping to organize the event went to Vernon last week, which has held dry grads in the past, to find out what is required.

Tickets to Mesmer $8. Expect a knock on your door on Tuesday, April 16, between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m.
