How to build a wicked blue trail or a double black off-shoot will be shared by Whistler Blackcomb’s experts with other mountain bike operators from across North America this month.

"Park riding is on the verge of exploding, however, there are not enough new and improved riding experiences in enough locations to meet the demand," said Rob Mckimming, Whistler-Blackcomb’s vice-president, business development, said in a press release.

Gravity Logic, a Whistler-Blackcomb business incubator venture, will assist other businesses in park-riding design and development by providing help with planning, design, construction, training, and retail, event and safety strategies.

To be presented at a Florida ski trade show May 22-25, the team includes McKimming, three mountain park staff and freeride pro Richie Schley.

Gravity Logic may point to changes the Whistler-Blackcomb made to its own Park this year, adding two new intermediate trails with advanced and expert off-shoots.

Focusing on creating innovations in bike park design and development, Gravity Logic will provide the following services to interested areas:  business and strategic planning; on-site trail design and layout; trail and feature construction and project management; custom training packages; mountain bike retail/rental consulting; event design and development; sponsorship strategy; mountain safety and risk management.
