Greenside Properties will be getting a little help from the municipality keeping the campground lands open this summer. The new Spruce Grove parking lot will be used by the campground as overflow space for RVs this summer. Due to the protracted legal hearings over ownership of the land and the fact that Whistler doesn’t have another campground, the development company has agreed to keep as much of the campground open as long as possible. However, Greenside is pre-loading some of the campground site this summer to prepare the land for its housing development and school. That will mean parts of the campground will be closed sometime this summer. The use of the neighbouring Spruce Grove parking lot will help with camping facilities.
