Hairfamers unknotted sound heard weekly at Merlin’s

Keeping busy weekly at Merlin’s are the Hairfarmers –‘Grateful Greg Reamsbottom on conga drums and vocals and Guitar Doug, who was recently voted best local musician by Pique readers in 2001.

Their folksy psychedelic rock accompanies apres-ski and evening pints every Friday at Merlin’s, and this Saturday at Dusty’s at Whistler Creek.

The Hairfarmers opened for Great Big Sea at the Summer Concert Series on Blackcomb a couple of summers ago. They also played the Kokanee Summit Concert in Creston, B.C. in 2000, with Wide Mouth Mason and Econoline Crush.

Reamsbottom keeps live gigs alive at open jam night at the Boot Pub every Thursday night. Locals musicians in and around the valley are encouraged to bring their Fender Stratocaster, banjo, or warmed up vocal chords to this evening of jamming.
