hallow transit

Local businesses and the RMOW have partnered to encourage Halloween party goers to leave their car keys at home. Passengers in full costume can ride Whistler Transit for 25 cents courtesy of Garfinkel’s, Savage Beagle, Tapley’s The Boot Pub and Buffalo Bills. The special fare is in effect after 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, until the service finishes for the evening. "RMOW is very pleased to have the sponsorship of our local merchants," said Linda Manheim, transit co-ordinator. "Together we are promoting safe rides home and encouraging people to think of transit when planning their activities." Regular bus fare is $1.50 for adults and $1.25 for seniors and students.
