Icon Gone returns for one last showdown

Catch the event's finale March 6
whmuseum_logo_k

The quest to find Whistler's greatest icon comes to an end March 6 with the last instalment of Icon Gone.

The annual debate — put on by the Whistler Museum — pits locals against each other in an effort to determine the icon that best represents Whistler. Over the last five years contestants have argued in favour of gravity, beavers, long skis and mountain bikes. (The latter was the winning icon put forth by Pique's own Andrew Mitchell in 2010.)

Catch the finale at Merlin's on Wednesday. Tickets are $10 and on sale now at the museum. For more information visit whistlermuseum.org.
