The In-Shuck-Ch Forest Service Road is closed due to a vehicle accident.

Emergency services are on the scene. The accident appears to have taken place just a few hundred metres east of the new detour turn-off from Duffey Lake Road.

The gravel road provides service to popular camping spots along Lillooet Lake, the T'sek Hot Springs and Sloquet Hot Springs, as well as several First Nations communities.

When reached by phone, Pemberton RCMP confirmed there had been an accident and estimated shortly after 3 p.m. that the road would be closed for approximately four more hours.

Police are not able to release any more details at this time.
