With stimulus packages the hottest presents leftover from Christmas, Intrawest today announced Presidential Stimulus Package Deals at its resorts.
The packages offer savings for people planning to visit Intrawest resorts for the Presidents Day holiday weekend in February. The deals include savings on lift tickets, airfares, family programs and lodging at all of Intrawest’s North American resorts.
Most ski areas have been offering value packages all winter, hoping to entice visitors during tough economic times.
At Whistler Blackcomb the Presidential Stimulus Package includes five nights of accommodation (with the fifth day free) and a four-day lift ticket (with the fourth day free). The package is available Feb. 13-21 and is priced at $125 per person per night.
At Panorama Mountain Village, savings up to 25 per cent on ski-in/ski-out lodging and lift tickets are available Feb. 16-19.
The offer at Steamboat, Colorado, is 20 per cent off four or more nights lodging, lifts, rentals and receive a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine until April 12.
Similar vacation packages are being offered at Intrawest’s other mountain resorts and at warm weather destinations in Florida, Nevada, California and Hawaii.
