Letter to the editor

I would agree with Andrew Mitchell that everyone should buy a gas/electric hybrid.

I would disagree that this would cause the price of gas to drop.

I would argue that the price of gasoline should continue to rise.

I would love to see gas running at 3 or 4 bucks a litre!

How do you think the gas/electric technologies evolve? Or better mass transit systems?

If planet-destroying technologies are cheap, that's what people will use.

Price it out of the range of the masses and you lessen the detrimental aspects we create, forcing us – and industry – to come up with creative new ways to get around.

"The world economy is more complex than I could hope to explain..." in one letter!

Simply put, if cars were not so intertwined with the economy we would never have "Whistler".

Just imagine a world without cars, if you can... if you dare.
