Holiday books
We have quite a few childrens picture books and some information books about Hanukah (of Hanukkah or Chanukkah) which takes place from Dec. 19 to 26 this year . It's one of the most important of the Jewish holidays. The holiday goes back almost 2,400 years, and celebrates one of the greatest miracles in Jewish history. It is a celebration of the victory of the Maccabees and the rededication of the Jerusalem Temple. It also commemorates the miracle of the oil that burned for eight days.
