Looking for used books?

Friends of the Whistler Public Library are now collecting books for their annual book sale.

The organization is accepting all used books — from adult novels to children picture books along with recent magazines — for their fundraising event.

Collection boxes can be found at Nesters Market, TD Canada Trust at Marketplace, and Spring Creek Community School.

The sale will be held on Thanksgiving weekend, Saturday Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in front of IGA Marketplace. Proceeds will go to local school libraries.

For large donations of boxfuls of books, call Jane Reid at 604 932 3665 to arrange for drop-off or pick-up.
