RCMP officer turned author Don Easton will be signing copies of his first novel, Loose Ends, at Armchair Books Aug. 25.

Easton spent more than 20 years as an undercover Mountie in Vancouver and that experience serves him well in his debut novel. Loose Ends is the story of Jack Taggart, an undercover Mountie in Vancouver under suspicion from his own force.

Described as "a slick first novel" by The Globe and Mail, Easton’s book has received good reviews thus far.

Easton will be doing a book signing at Armchair Books from 1 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25.
