The culmination of the Womenzworx component of Crankwrox was a competition where competitors in the pro and amateur categories were judged on four different sections of the bike park that emphasized different skills — technical descent, air, jump and slopestyle with judges at each section to give riders a grade.

Lorraine Blancher of Revelstoke edged out Stephanie Nychka of Oregon for the win, by a score of 30.0 to 29.8. Casey Brown of Revelstoke and Whistler’s Claire Buchar tied for third with scores of 27.5. They shared a prize purse of $3,200.

In the amateur category, Eleanor Maxfield of the U.K. placed first with a 22.0, followed by Kjersten Lone of Victoria with a 20.8 and Dawn Cashen of Kelowna with a 19.8.
