Whistler Community Services’ LUNA (Late and Unique Nighttime Alternatives) program will take an off-season hiatus for the month of May.

Whistler Community Services’ LUNA (Late and Unique Nighttime Alternatives) program will take an off-season hiatus for the month of May.

The program was relaunched in March of this year to provide weekly alcohol-free activities to adults seeking an alternative to the bar and club scene. Recent events have included Triple Threat martial arts/breakdancing classes, yoga and Thai massage, climbing, hockey, and a pool party.

LUNA activities will resume on a bi-weekly basis on Thursday, June 3.

LUNA will also be joining with the Whistler Film Festival Society to bring back the popular late night outdoor feature film screenings at Lost Lake Park in July and August.
