Marriott takes over from Rob Schwartz as general manager of MY Place.
Marriott has been a resident of Whistler since 1996, when he held the position of general manager of food and beverage operations for Whistler-Blackcomb. Most recently he worked for Intrawest’s Leisure and Travel Group as manager of revenue systems.
His experience includes a position as consulting general manager for the Picasso Café in Vancouver, an initiative of the Option Youth Society to provide restaurant training for 18-24 year old youth at risk.
Marriott will begin his work at MY Place on Nov. 15.
