What: COMMUNITY DISCUSSION ON IPPS The community of Pemberton is having a public meeting regarding the proposed private power project on the Ryan River. Andy Ross, president of the BC Hydro Employee Union, and Gwen Barley from Western Canada Wilderness Committee will speak about the degradation of the environment from privatizing rivers. The short documentary “Power Play”, on the impacts and limitations of B.C.’s Energy Plan, will also be screened.

When: Friday February 1, 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.

What: WOMEN OF WHISTLER MEETING Join Sheila Walkington, Certified Financial Planner, money coach and educator to learn to develop a healthy relationship to money to live a satisfying, fulfilling and meaningful life. To register call 604-932-5922 ext. 26.

What: OPEN SPACE TRAINING WORKSHOP All are invited to participate in this first-ever training session on Open Space with Chris Corrigan. This is the second in a series of workshops from the Corridor Facilitators Network. Lunch is $20. Please register at info@whistlerforum.com before February 7.
