What: COMMUNITY DISCUSSION ON IPPS The community of Pemberton is having a public meeting regarding the proposed private power project on the Ryan River. Andy Ross, president of the BC Hydro Employee Union, and Gwen Barley from Western Canada Wilderness Committee will speak about the degradation of the environment from privatizing rivers. The short documentary “Power Play”, on the impacts and limitations of B.C.’s Energy Plan, will also be screened.

When: Friday February 1, 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.

Where: Pemberton Community Centre
