Masset remembers fallen crew A memorial plaque to Whistler's Wendy Ann Thompson and the rest of the crew of a Lear jet that went down at the northern end of the Queen Charlottes Jan. 11 was unveiled earlier this week in Masset. Thompson, an ex-Whistler paramedic was part of a crew of five that was on an emergency mission to Masset to evacuate a woman who was having a problem birth. The plaque will hang in the Masset Clinic and will be moved to the new Health Care Centre, expected to be completed within the next three years. Thompson's body has not been recovered. The Transportation Safety Board is expected to release a report on the cause of the crash this fall.
