Mosquito Lake run raises funds for search and rescue 

$700 will go toward new SAT phone

The fourth annual Mosquito Lake Run took part on Sunday, April 9 with a record turnout of 52 runners.

The fastest time belonged to John Davies, a Pemberton resident and member of Pemberton Search and Rescue, who completed the course in 36 minutes and 20 seconds.

The proceeds from the event, $705, will go to the Pemberton Search and Rescue, which will use the funds to cover the cost of a new satellite phone.
