Mountain closures start Monday

Blackcomb Sunday, Whistler June 4

Whistler-Blackcomb is gearing down operations after this Sunday, April 23, the final day of the Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival.

Blackcomb Mountain will be halting all operations at the end of day Sunday, and won’t reopen until the summer glacier season gets underway, June 5 to July 30.

The Creekside Gondola will also close down for the season. Whistler Mountain remains open until June 4, but will be accessible by the Village Gondola only.

The Coca-Cola Tube Park at Base II on Blackcomb will also cease operations on Sunday after a successful inaugural season. If you haven’t been yet this weekend is your last chance. Hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. this weekend.
