Foul play is not suspected in the death of Roy Frank of Mount Currie. Frank, 68, also known as "Short Man," was reported missing by his family on Dec. 7 after he walked away from his residence. Frank was known to have Alzheimer’s Disease. Frank’s body was located next to the Birkenhead River, approximately two kilometres north of Mount Currie, after an extensive search by members of the Mount Currie Band, Mount Currie Fire Department and Pemberton Search and Rescue. The coroner’s office is investigating the death.
