Mt. Currie woman missing

Last heard from in Vancouver

A 19-year-old Mt. Currie woman has been reported missing.

Pilasi Kingfisher was last seen at noon on Friday, April 20th by her family when she left Pemberton on a Greyhound bus for Vancouver.

When she arrived in Vancouver, she called her family at approximately 6 p.m. At that time, she advised her mom she was having dinner at McDonald’s at Main Street and Terminal and that she would be staying with a long-time family friend while in Vancouver.

Kingfisher, who is First Nations, is described as 5’8” and 185 lbs.,with brown eyes and long black hair. She was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and gold flip-flops. She was carrying a black canvas duffle bag.

Her family has not heard from her since her last phone call, which they said is highly unusual behaviour.
