The Whistler Museum reopens today with its new winter hours and a new display for the holiday season. The museum, located next to the library on Main Street in Village North, will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays during the winter. For Christmas week, from Dec. 27 to Jan. 4, the museum will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For the next month the museum will have a seasonal display featuring toys from the 1930s to the 1970s. All the toys have come from personal collections within the valley. In addition to the museum’s permanent exhibit, which focuses on the pioneers of the Whistler Valley, the Walter Zebrowski Room looks at skiing in Whistler from the 1920s through the development of the mountains to the present.
