Music fundraiser for skatepark

Four bands and a DJ

The Power Line Skate and Music Jam packs in a day of listening and visual entertainment for a great cause Saturday, Sept. 30 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Pemberton Skate Park.

Four bands and a DJ provide the tunes for the festival, with Slush, Forever Ends, Fall of Summer, Mouth Full of Daisy and DJ Richy performing.

Along with live shows, a street and mini ramp jam will entertain the crowds followed by a pro skate session and instruction.

To pre-register for the jam, email or call 604-935-9147.

There are plenty of giveaways and raffles thanks to sponsors.

All proceeds from the Step Up Skate and Snowboard Shop presented event benefit the local skate park.

The festival afterparty takes place at Pamela’s Cook Shack.

Festival admission is $5.
