Who: The Sadies This Toronto foursome gained fame for their uncanny ability to blend '60s country rock and psychadelia with surf, punk and cosmic American music, transforming it into an entirely new sound. They're preparing to release their first new album in three years, so expect big things during this rare Whistler appearance. Mike McDonald, winner of the 2008 Battle of the bands, opens with an acoustic performance. Tickets $15 in advance or $20 at the door.
