What: Triple Threat Thursdays The inaugural weekly event kicks off with the sensational multi-talented Steve Jiu hosting a competition of rap battles, spoken word, karaoke and open jams for great prizes and entertainment.

Who: Cameron Chu Live jazz, soul and R&B with the house piano man and guests.

Where: Bearfoot Bistro & Champagne Bar

Who: Gordo Plus One Veteran musician covers decades of great roots, blues and rock n' roll with lead guitar from Pierre Eady.

What: The Bowen Boys Toe tapping favorites and Celtic traditional tunes with Bowen Island's Rob Thompson and guests. Apres 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Evening 8 p.m. to midnight.

Who: Michael Sicoly Whistler’s own piano man always gets the dance floor rocking. Shows 3:30-5:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. to midnight.

What: Japanese Movie Check out All About Lily Chou-Chou as the first of a monthly Japanese movie series presented by LUNA. The film, included on Quentin Tarantino’s Off the Top of My Head List, captures the angst and rebellion of adolescence. $2 for LUNA members (ages 18-29) and $4 for non-members. Show 7:30 p.m.

What: Locals Night Popular party night around these parts with local DJs on the decks.

What: Club Shred Weekly rotation of live local musicians play cover favourites. This week internationally acclaimed hypnotist Sailesh delivers a completely uncensored, entertaining show. Tickets $10/$5. Doors 8 p.m. DJ Jaymin warms up crowd for apres.

Who: Ace & Milton Foxy Moron a.k.a. Ace spins everything from old soul funk to indie rock and electro for apres from 3-9 p.m. DJs Milton and Toddski Break Down the House with funky beats and bass for After Dark Session.

What: Party Beats The Whistler University Party Series stops at Tommy’s for special trance night. Guest DJs on deck. Free cover before midnight. Doors 9 p.m.

Who: Mike Weterings Acoustic folk-rock with African world beat rhythms.

Where: Black’s Pub

What: Last Call Ladies Night Jason Bonnell and his local band is playing all of your favourite cover tunes. No cover for ladies. Doors 8 p.m.
