Special Urban Rush in Whistler   Join a live taping of Shaw’s Urban Rush featuring Will Sasso from Mad TV along with music from DJ Mister Fister a.k.a. Chili Thom and the Daniel Wesley Band Friday, Oct. 12 at the Garibaldi Lift Company (GLC). Free tickets available at Shaw’s retail office. Limit four per person.

 

BC/DC   ACDC tribute band returns to Whistler for legendary rock and roll on Friday, Oct. 12 at the Longhorn Saloon. Entry is by donation to the Get Bear Smart Society. Show 9 p.m.

 

The Sadies   The indie band will step up the traditionally instrumental show by throwing a book of lyrics from their newest album New Seasons at the crowds on Sunday, Oct. 14 at the Garibaldi Lift Company (GLC). The Toronto foursome combine ‘60s country rock, psychedelia, surf, punk and cosmic American music for a sound like none other.   Advance $20 tickets are now on sale at the GLC.
