The pub currently hosts "Das Boot Ballet" female strippers Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Beginning in early December, the club will also feature Das Boot Ballet on Thursdays.
The decision to run strip shows four nights a week is to fill a void in the schedule, McNaught said. Previously, the girls danced Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the Boot, went to Squamish to dance at the Ocean Port Hotel on Thursdays and then came back to Whistler on Fridays.
The Ocean Port’s recent decision to use a different talent agency meant the Boot had to offer up Thursday nights or lose the girls on Fridays.
The pub’s seasonal weekly open jam night launches next Saturday, Nov. 6. Cold Snap, a collective of well-known local musicians including Greg Reamsbottom (Hairfarmers, Whole Lotta Led) and Jordan White (She Stole My Beer) will return as the house band.
The Boot will continue to host The Punk Night every Sunday
