New Progressive release from Mikas

Release party set for March 19

Local trance talent Mikas, a.k.a. Michel Anguelov, drops a new compilation album on the Whistler music scene with a release party Monday, March 19 at Garfinkel’s.

The album of progressive trance beats is released on Mikas’s own digital-only label, Progressive Grooves Records.

The label is dedicated to publishing evolved electronic dance music that has gained support from DJ elites, including Tiesto, Armin Van Buren and Paul Van Dyk, just to name a few.

Along with listening to Mikas’s compositions and remixes on his 11-song album, his progressive trance vibes can be heard on a weekly show on pure.fm out of San Francisco.

Progressive house will warm up crowds at 9 p.m. on the Monday night show with Mikas spinning out progressive trance at midnight.

Admission is free before 9 p.m. and $5 thereafter.
