This year you can be a part of the true meaning of Christmas by contributing to the Santa's Helpers Fund. This program, organized by the Whistler Community Services Society, provides financially restricted families in Whistler, Mount Currie and D'Arcy with hampers laden with ingredients for Christmas dinner, gifts for the children and other treats. Santa and Whistler Community Services could use your donations to help fill these hampers and any volunteer time you could spare to help wrap, fill and deliver. If you are planning a Christmas party, perhaps your guests could bring a contribution to Santa's Helpers. Please call Whistler Community Services at 932-0113 to register to receive a hamper or, if planning a party, call for suggestions for donations. Volunteers call anytime.
