Volunteers should be prepared to participate in a two-day training session and spend approximately two hours per week providing telephone support to families. Previous experience with postpartum depression is an asset. Hours are flexible and volunteers can work from their home. Anyone in Whistler or Pemberton interested in volunteering should call 932-3202 and leave a message for public health nurse Nathalie Ferlatte. In Squamish call Sheilagh Murray, public health nurse, at 892-3585. The People’s Law School is presenting a free legal seminar on Mortgage Matters, Feb. 25 at the Whistler Public Library.
