Up and Coming
South America Slide Show Fundraiser Saturday, Aug. 26 at 8 p.m. at the Garibaldi Lift Company (GLC). The evening features a photo slide show and storytelling from adventurers Todd Lawson and Christina Tottle who covered more than 44,000 kilometres of pavement and dirt roads over 569 days through 23 different countries. The motorcycle journey traveled all the way from Whistler to South America and back again. More than 20,000 images were shot with plenty of heart-warming tales to accompany them. The fundraiser will benefit five families in need from South America.
