Sell-out shows return Two of Whistler's biggest sell-out concerts this year once again return to the Garibaldi Lift Company. Tennessee Three, the original backing band for Johnny Cash, return with The Man in Black's country classics Tuesday, Sept. 19 and Wednesday, Sept. 20 at the GLC. Australia's number one band The Cat Empire also returns Oct. 24 at the GLC. Tennessee Three tickets are $25 and The Cat Empire $20. Tickets now on sale at the GLC.

BBQ Bob's Redneck Bash B.C. Barbecue Champion Bob Haselbach of the Roundhouse Lodge hosts a fundraising event Monday, Sept. 18 at 6 p.m. at Merlin's to send him and his Eh Team to the American Royal Invitational BBQ and the Jack Daniel's World Championship BBQ. Evening includes raffle (season pass giveaway), A Whole Lotta Led concert and BBQ buffet. Tickets $50 and on sale at Merlin's.
