She recently released her self-titled debut album, promoting it on a tour of the Toronto International Film Festival’s hottest parties. Performs from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

The jetsetter is currently in New York working on her new album with the songwriting talents of Chris Butler most famously known for "I Know what Boys Like" and "Christmas Wrapping" in the early 80's. Always a fun night out with the diva.

Monster mash ups for the evening include K-Tel, Foxy Moron, Mr. Fister and Vinyl Ritchie with apparitions by Technomorph. Advanced tickets already sold out. Only 70 tickets will be available at the door starting at 7:30 p.m., so get there early. Party starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25.

John Lee Hooker Jr.   The bluesman returns Sunday, Nov. 5 and Monday, Nov. 6 at Buffalo Bill’s. The legend promotes his new album Cold As Ice. Advanced tickets $20 at Bill’s.

 

Xavier Rudd   returns to Whistler Dec. 4 at the Telus Conference Centre with his one-man show spanning everything from guitars, shakers and didgeridoos to slide guitars, tongue drums, stomp boxes and slide banjo. Tickets on sale Friday, Sept. 22 at 10 a.m. Call Ticketmaster at 604-280-4444.
